League of Legends Best Champion Skins: Nocturne

Skins in League of Legends are an interesting animal. They’re the only thing in the game that you can only buy with real money. That means you have to be careful about what you buy.

I do buy a lot of skins, because they make the game more enjoyable for me, but I try to keep it to one skin per champion. That means you have to know which one is the best, so I’m here to tell you.

Check out the full list here.

Now it’s time for some Jungle love.

The Best Nocturne Skin

Sorry folks, you’re kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place with this one.

The best Nocturne skin is limited edition. Haunting Nocturne was a Harrowing skin. They did re-release it for a limited time in 2013 and there is a chance that they will do so again.

I find it really funny that he is wearing a sheet like a lame ghost costume. The colors are really nice too. Nocturne skins are really interesting because there are so many particles with his abilities. The little specters coming up out of his Dustbringer(Q) are really cool and the color is really unique. Just the right amount of humor and pop.

If Haunting Nocturne is the rock, then Eternum Nocturne is the hard place. It’s a Legendary skin and so is really expensive, but it’s the coolest currently available skin. The technological bent to the model is really cool. All the additional particle animations are really unique and cool. And the voice work is top notch.

The Rest of the Nocturne Skins

You can check out all the skins here.

I like the base skin a lot so Nocturne is a champ you could consider leaving as is, especially if you don’t want to pay for the Eternum skin.

For some reason, none of the other three skins I like that much. Frozen, Void and Ravager all seem kind of generic spooky and if you’re going to do that, then just stick with the base skin.

That’s Nocturne but who would you like to see next? Let me know in the comments or tell me what you think of Nocturne’s skins.
